I’d also like to thank Christin Young at Monarch Books and Gifts in Overland Park, KS for the Local Author Event she hosted last weekend. Seventeen local authors signed books in the rollicking holiday atmosphere at her store. Live music, food, books, friends–what’s not to love?

Years ago when the grandchildren were little, my clever husband built a hobby horse for them for Christmas. I love to bring it out in December as part of our Christmas decorations.
